These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the APJ CABS website and any car rental, bus rental, chauffeur-driven, self-drive, or allied travel services (collectively, "Services") booked with APJ CABS Private Limited ("APJ CABS", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website or booking any Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or Services.

Booking Process

Bookings can be made online through our website, by phone, or via WhatsApp. To confirm a booking, you may be required to provide a valid ID (such as Aadhaar, Passport, or Driving Licence), contact details, and payment of a deposit or the full amount as per the selected package. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and are confirmed via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.

Tariffs and Payment

Tariffs displayed on our website are indicative and may vary based on vehicle type, duration, distance, season, and location. We accept payment via UPI, major credit/debit cards, netbanking, and cash, depending on the booking type. Online payment is preferred for faster confirmation. Any applicable taxes, tolls, parking charges, state permits, or interstate charges are payable separately unless explicitly stated as included.

Mileage and Extra Charges

Certain packages include a fixed mileage and time allowance (for example, 40 kms for 4 hours). Usage beyond the included kilometres or hours will be charged at our applicable per-km or per-hour rate. Late returns are billed as per the tariff plan, so we recommend informing us in advance if you expect to exceed your booked duration.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations are permitted, and applicable cancellation fees depend on the timing of the cancellation and the package booked. Please refer to your booking confirmation or contact our customer support team for the exact cancellation and refund policy applicable to your booking.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are expected to:

• Provide accurate personal and travel details at the time of booking
• Treat vehicles, chauffeurs, and staff with respect
• Not use the vehicle for any illegal, hazardous, or unauthorised purpose
• Be responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle due to negligence or misuse during the rental period

Self-Drive Rentals

Where self-drive options are offered, the renter must hold a valid driving licence, provide a refundable security deposit, and comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations. APJ CABS reserves the right to refuse self-drive rentals at its sole discretion.

Insurance

Basic insurance coverage is provided as per applicable government regulations. Additional coverage or damage waivers, where offered, may be available at extra cost. Customers should confirm the exact coverage limits applicable to their booking before travel.

Roadside Assistance

We provide roadside assistance for mechanical issues or breakdowns during the rental period. In case of any such issue, customers should contact our support number, and we will assist or arrange a replacement vehicle wherever possible.

Extension of Rental Period

Requests to extend a rental period should be made before the current booking ends. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability, and updated charges will apply. Payment for extensions can be made online or on delivery, as agreed.

Limitation of Liability

APJ CABS shall not be held liable for delays, losses, or damages arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather events, government restrictions, or force majeure events. Our liability, where applicable, shall be limited to the value of the Service booking in question.

Intellectual Property

All content on the APJ CABS website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of APJ CABS Private Limited and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written consent.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from the use of our Services or website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, or applicable law. Continued use of our website or Services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
